I found Jesus, or should I say He found me at the age of 20. Prior to that, I was essentially living a life of what I thought was purpose, but when I came face to face with the intervention and revealing of the God who created all things, and was able to recognize that He loves me more than I could ever hope or imagine, my life was turned upside down. It has been a journey. It continues to be one. Sometimes its smooth sailing, downhill with the wind at my back. Sometimes it’s a lonely rocky path through treacherous terrain. One thing that I have noticed, particularly on the rocky way, is that the wonderful God who I encountered all those years ago is always with me. Holding my hand at times, carrying me at others. He is altogether good.
Having spent much time both in deep valleys of loss and hurt, and on mountaintops of joy and peace and blessing, I have come to realize that even when I so badly desire to be out of that valley, or to remain indefinitely on that mountaintop, God’s perfect timing is best. It is my prayerful intention with this blog site to help any who want to enjoy deeper, more meaningful relationship with the Father, and with His body on earth, the many varied members of the family of Faith.
No matter the season of life that you may be in, I will do my utmost to help my readers and subscribers to find purpose and passion in their daily walk with Jesus. I hope that you will find hope and blessing through some of the content that I will be putting out there. I hope you will join me in this beautiful, sometimes terrifying, always rewarding journey with God, for God, because of God.
